Cory Doctorow, Raegan MacDonald and Anne-Marie Eklund-Löwinder join advisory board of the World Ethical Data Foundation
Ahead of the World Ethical Data Forum on 26-28 October, WEDF has strengthened its advisory board with three key appointments.
Prominent tech activist Cory Doctorow, tech policy specialist Raegan MacDonald and information security expert Anne-Marie Eklund-Löwinder will offer invaluable guidance across the full range of WEDF’s work.
WEDF’s complementary arms – the World Ethical Data Forum and the World Ethical Data Foundation – embrace the full scope of the urgent issues around technology in society today. The annual forum advances the conversation around the opportunities and problems of data-driven innovation. In collaboration with businesses, institutions and governments across the globe, the foundation implements practical solutions – including a key project to make reliable human rights-related information available worldwide.
Introducing the new advisers…
Next month, all three will speak at the World Ethical Data Forum on 26-28 October. This discursive and inclusive event explores the many interrelated issues surrounding technology and society – Cory, Raegan and Anne-Marie will each make important contributions to the discussion and debate.
